Family training gives families a vision, a plan, and a system of accountability to build strong family legacies.
Legacy Mapping is an engaging experience of discovering the unique impact each family was created to make. Families are guided through a 7-step process using the Legacy Mapping Video Series to identify a core set of Family Values, a Family Mission, and the beginning of a plan to start living it out. Designed as a two-night event or broken into several meetings if completed in a small group setting; couples can enjoy good food, inviting conversation, self discovery, and in depth brainstorming.
The Legacy Development System is a proven family training model used to help take the vision families create in Legacy Mapping and implement it in their life. Over the course of 12 weekly, or 12 bi-weekly meetings - families are guided, equipped, challenged, and encouraged to develop their family legacy with the Legacy Development group workbook either through our online Legacymakers academy zoom groups or in church small group communities.
Family training at your church is a great way to engage your community at large with a sense of camaraderie and unity. Plus, it creates a motivating environment for everyone to work hard at building a strong family culture.
Inviting leaders to operate as floaters around the room or join each table group is easy because the material is primarily self-led. Leaders can support the couples by asking good questions or encouraging others to keep going.
Family training in homes provides a seamless way to integrate the training into your pre-existing small group population. With the included Leader Guide and family legacy boxes, everyone will have access to the videos and group leadership can easily be shared.
